Consultation and Education

Capitol Care South aims to provide education for individuals so they can be informed and help themselves as much as possible. Services include:
• Written material on available services
• How to access services
• Media and public presentations
• Referral information on advocacy organizations

Emergency Services

Capitol Care South offers emergency services to individuals participating in our clinical services and can be reached at (205) 956 – 2000.

Residential Services

Capitol Care South contracts with residential service providers that are certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Division of Developmental Disabilities. Residential services address the needs of individuals who require 24 hour protective oversight and supervision in daily living. Individuals with a principal diagnosis will be assessed to determine if they require residential services by our clinical staff.
